This series evolved out of the on-site Artist Residency in March 2020 at the modern historic house designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright.  The series focuses on the meeting of  dissimilar materials- a juxtaposition of glass to metal, stone to stucco/cement , stone to metal , and other “meetings” of materials throughout the modern house.  The monoprints, drawings, paintings, and sketches are vignettes.  The work is a perception and translation of light and shadow on architectural details, as well as interpretations of interior and exterior relationships.
